Our Mission
Girls Sprouts is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting health, wellness, nutrition, and a holistic lifestyle for young girls. Through sisterhood, friendship, adventure, and entrepreneurship, we inspire the next generation to develop confidence, perseverance, integrity, and gratitude. Our goal is to combat loneliness, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression by fostering
self-love, confidence, and overall well-being.

Why Girls Sprouts?
Childhood obesity, high blood pressure, and diabetes are at an
all-time high. An active lifestyle, combined with wellness, nutrition, and fun, is essential for healthy development. Girls Sprouts provides a safe space where girls can connect, build friendships, and develop leadership skills while learning about sustainability and self-sufficiency. This program gives parents a chance to rest while ensuring their children are engaged in meaningful activities that create a positive impact on their lives and communities.

My Why
De’Ari Bailey, Founder
My passion for mentorship stems from my own childhood experiences. Having benefited from mentorship and guidance, I know firsthand the power of a strong support system. Combined with my love for fitness, health, and entrepreneurship, I created Girls Sprouts as a way to give back to the community. This program allows me to connect with youth, build relationships, and cultivate a nurturing environment where young girls can thrive.

Program Overview
Girls Sprouts runs every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM during the months of June and July. Our activities include mentorship, physical education, recreational field trips, health and wellness learning, and leadership development. Parents can enroll their children through a QR code provided on the flyer or here on the website.

Field Trips & Activities
We take field trips to recreational locations such as parks, hiking trails, and businesses that align with our values of nature, nutrition, and entrepreneurship. Most locations are free, but with funding, we aim to visit places like botanical gardens, Sprouts, farmers markets, and even Six Flags.
